Rep. Jimenez's Committee Assignments Reflect Local Priorities

This week, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) appointed State Representative Sara Wojcicki Jimenez (R-Leland Grove) to the following committees: State Government Administration, Agriculture and Conservation, Appropriations Higher Education, Special Committee on Mental Health, and the Special Committee on Museums.

“I am honored to have been appointed to these committees that will take on some very important issues that impact the 99th district. I am looking forward to getting to work with my colleagues to advance legislation that can help reform state government, promote our agriculture industry, properly fund our institutions of higher education, and study the issues of mental health and museums that are so important to our state,” said Representative Jimenez

“We face significant challenges as a state today but I am hopeful that Republicans and Democrats can work together in the upcoming session to advance bipartisan solutions that will reform state government, grow our economy, and put our state on the right path for years to come,” said Representative Jimenez.
